Starting This Next Chapter

I graduated last week with my Early Childhood Education diploma from NSCC, and I’ve already applied for my Level 2 credentials. After two years of full‑time online classes, it feels good to finally reach this point.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes sense for my family right now, and I’ve decided to keep working as substitute staff. The flexibility matters, and it lets me be home with the kids when I need to be.

I was offered a full‑time position, and I really do appreciate it. It just isn’t the right time for us, and that’s okay. I’m choosing what works for our family in this season.

For now, I’m happy to be finished school, staying connected to the field, and taking things one step at a time.
